A good agricole rum, easy to drink. On the nose, sugarcane stands out, with spicy notes hiding the oak. On the palate, oak stands out strongly, always persistent, with spicy notes and hints of sugarcane. A TCRL with a good quality/price ratio.

Then a Transcontinental Line, usually very solid rums, including this Agricole. The first impression of the nose was very dark, but then sugar cane, agricole and spice emerged. On the palate, some leather and wood were added.

A simple, easy-drinking young Agricole with an appealing spiciness and a useful oak contribution. A little behind its potential due to the dilution, but free of unpleasant off-notes. The finish is unfortunately too short, but after some delay, sugar cane with hints of yellow fruit emerges from the cheeks, which I like.

I bought the transcontinental French West Indies as a sample without checking what I was actually buying. I didn't expect it to be an Agricole rum. I'm not a fan of Agricole, it somehow doesn't appeal to me, but I don't think this one is bad.

Needs a moment to breathe. Burns a bit in the nose at first, but you notice fruity notes. When drinking, then sugarcane, wood and spice.
