A round, soft and bold taste with lots of fruit and sweetness, which ends in a long aftertaste.

Woodier and toastier than the Centenario 20y and 25y, but less fruity. In the mouth super mild and pleasing, because super sweet. The actually delicious flavor profile (fruit, caramel, toasty chocolate, vanilla and some wood) and any edges are covered by the sweetness and totally rounded. Price: way too expensive. There are hundreds of better rums in this segment! The 25y pleases better.

A rum with a nose of almost burnt caramel, vanilla and old leather and light coffee. A soft mouthfeel, then the flavors appear, leather again, milk chocolate and a salty side with an interesting bitterness that holds it all together. The finish is rather short, on bitterness and caramel. I'm a little disappointed, but it's undeniably well done. Yet the whole lacks complexity. The empty glass, perhaps due to the absence of sugar, adds a little depth.

8,1:On the nose, the first impression is strongly roasted, sugar burnt, melted into the caramel, as nuts, the caramel is thick, spiced up with an orange peel, we get some nice dark fruits with blackcurrant and grape, as we feel tannins and a very toasty wood, a bit dry. All the spices are also sweet and roasted, adding value to woodiness. The wood is nicely toasted with a touch of vanilla, a hint of sweetness and a whiff of perfume. Aeration doesn't change the rum's profile, as it stays dark with now coffee, the wood becomes charred and a bit medicinal. Some lighter notes as confectionery crawl in, there are tasty caramelized walnuts and molasses, generally the nuts are roasted, with a hint of nougat, cocoa comes out after nice rest. 8:On the palate, the attack is soft and roasted with some chocolate, the molasses is dark, caramelized with maple syrup. There is also some sweet spiciness, as the nuts are mellow, creamy. The rum is quite tasty, a bit medicinal, dry with tannins and toasted wood. 8:The finish is dark, spicy, with tannins and caramelized nuts and maple syrup, woody and dried fruits.

향 : 전형적인 고숙성 론의 향. 건포도와 캬라멜 뉘앙스가 대부분의 지분을 차지한다. 오픈 직후 알콜 부즈는 적지만, 향도 약해서 다소 심심하다. 페퍼민트의 화한 느낌과 열대과일 향도 얼핏 느껴진다. 특별할 것 없는 흔한 가당 론의 향이다. 밸런스는 나쁘지않다. 맛 : 달달함을 인공적이지 않게 잘 풀어냈다. 파우더리한 노트가 있어 살짝 드라이하다. 가죽과 건포도 노트 정도로 단순하지만 깔끔하다. 꾸덕한 질감에 비해 바디감은 그다지 채워지지 않는다. 목넘김 : 꽤 드라이하게 넘어간다. 가당 론을 마실때 목이 시럽으로 절여지는 듯한 불쾌감이 없다. 피니시는 짧지만, 한번씩 입맛을 다시면 바닐라 여운이 기분좋게 남아있다.
