An exciting product thanks to the aging in the barrels of the "old plum". A somewhat different taste - definitely worth trying

Somehow it doesn't taste that bad at all. A fruity freshness, citrus, orange, but also something artificial and sweet. Would be interesting to learn more about the production/additives…

Balanced nose, light, fruity with a slight sweetness. Plums, vanilla, and caramel come through lightly after a while. On the palate, alcoholic, slightly sharp, woody. The finish is woody and short. Not bad, but I expected more.

Unfortunately, i really do believe that this rum has a lot of potential that was not realised. The Cask has its influence. But overall the whole thing is watery and still to sharp. The neutral Spirit flavour really overwhelms any proper enjoyment. Needs more time and less water!
