Very intense and distinct MM profile. Rather on the fruity side. Very powerful with plenty of flavors - no easy sipper. Like it! Edit: A few drops of water go a long way with this one. Edit2: A couple of weeks oxidation in the opened bottle also helped to smoothen out some of the harsher edges - really enjoyable after all

Fine monymusk with a devilish 66.6% Nose: beautifully citric-fruity, almost metallic, yellow lemon with sweet and sour gooseberry and kiwi, pleasant esters with a little vinegar. Delicately woody-smoky and very light pencil lead. Intense and interesting. 8,1 Palate: already powerful and bitter-salty as well as astringent at the beginning. Lemon, green apple and nutmeg. Also slightly roasted with a certain baconiness. There is also some pencil lead and liquorice here. The great age is not really noticeable. Interesting, but also a little brittle. 7,9

#6060 12.12.2025 Running some samples to clean my palate after door number 12 in my Old St. Croix Christmas Calendar. Nose Fresh, fruity, light mango, ester, light herbs, faint floral, citrus, light apple. Palate Oily, medium intense, fruity, ester, light citrus, faint pencil shavings, light mango, herbs. Finish Long and warm, fruits, ester, light spicy, light herbs. Empty glass Herbs, citrus, light medicinal, faint smoke. Needs to rest for a good while in order to open up properly or the ABV and herbs are too dominant.

The smell is rather closed at first and benefits noticeably from a slightly longer standing time, whereas the "devilish" 66.6% immediately makes itself felt in the mouth with an intense sharpness and increases saliva production to a maximum. However, this gives rise to an incredibly creamy fruit flavor that sufficiently compensates for the stinging of the oral mucosa. As it progresses, it turns more and more woody with a good load of spices and the odd bitter moment. Not easy to enjoy, but a lot of fun.
