Those sensitive to high ABV or looking for an easy, soft Spanish‑style sipper; the alcohol punch and oak‑driven profile can feel demanding.

Who would guess Salvador IB blinded tasting? I don’t.. was thinking about Barbados, Jamaica or Guayana… The color is quite light yellow..golden..simply not dark. The smell - interesting mixture of sweet, woody and sometimes esters- like nail polish or glue. The taste - intense, alcoholic, but after resting in a glass for a while, sweet cocoa or coffee and wood appears. For me personally I would prefer less % at about 45-50 with keeping the same taste - I would buy it again and again..

--- English: Transcontinental Rum Line El Salvador is a unique rum that blends tropical aging with European finishing, adding depth and complexity to its profile. The nose reveals pronounced notes of spices, dried fruits, and cocoa, complemented by subtle esters and hints of polish. The palate is rich, with an emphasis on woody and spicy tones that harmonize beautifully with vanilla, caramel, and dried fruits. A gentle roasted character and esters enhance the rum's intrigue, delivering a long-lasting and intense finish.

Such a smaller brother of Foursquare - pleasant smell and taste, chocolate, wood, dried fruit. Fine rum.

For fist smell - 100% FSQ. Not on the taste. There is just small part of coffee and even less chocolate. Nice anyway
