Again Hampden. This time, from Transcontinental Rum Line. The're no marks, but i think, it's OWH. Nose: Wow, it's very fruity ) Like Beenleigh, but little dirty. Tropical fruits, mango, bananas, pineapple, some sour aromas (typical, if they use cane vinegar), brine, fermented fruits, some vanilla, hint of bergamot & Cognac notes. Touch of esters. Very interesting. Palate: Rich, fruity. Like multifruit juice. Orange, pineapple, mango, bananas, marmalade, peach, honey, candies. Really like Beenleigh)) Aftertaste: long, still very fruity. We can see again a hint of esters. But tropical fruits are dominate. Some wood & candies. Conclusion: well, it's not typical Hampden for me. But I'm really impressed. Great rum, almost without esters, still wonderfull. Recommend !
