Blind tasting. I guessed at the first nose that it was a Foursquare. You get the coconut, dark chocolate, the old barrel, and a little peppery. The mouth is pleasant, still a dominant coconut sprinkled with cocoa. Then follows a slight astringency that doesn't last. Persistent finish at first old barrel a bit damp and mushroomy, then a return of indulgent coconut with more chocolate.

On the nose, coconut, chocolate and quite present woodiness. On the palate still the coconut, accompanied by dark chocolate and a woody base of calé, all with a vinous side. The finish is medium, relatively dry and astringent. It reminds me of the cuvée indélébile, a notch above.
