Chocolate, coconut and vanilla lead here, with a mocha-and roast underneath and a light salty edge a couple of tasters loved. Despite 64.6% it drinks surprisingly soft and round — several call it a real "gaumenschmeichler" (palate-pleaser). A few drops of water open it up. One of the easier-drinking Travellers single casks, sweet-leaning but dry, with a pleasant medium finish.

The L'Esprit bottlings are almost always among the best representatives of the Travellers releases. Here the profile comes into its own in perfection - very round, sweet, balanced with vanilla, caramel, coffee, coconut, wood, subtle fruit notes, some spiciness, roasted peanuts... convincing and very drinkable.

A pretty Belize all in softness. Its 64 degrees remain very soft and controlled. Its nose is not the most powerful but leaves room for discovering subtle aromas. On the palate, it offers a delicate and velvety touch of chocolate, vanilla, and coconut with fine spices. The length remains medium but very pleasant. Another beautiful bottling from l’esprit.

On the nose chocolate, coconut and vanilla, it smells like paradise. On the palate, coconut milk, a bit of vanilla, very ripe fruit and that chocolate always present. A little salty side that wonderfully balances everything and makes you want to come back. Addictive rum with a very nice length. Big crush.

I did enjoy the nose on this one and the overall flavours. Quite high abv so a few drops of water went down well. Lots of fruity and wood flavours that stand out. Nice drop…
