#6527 21.03.2026 Day two part three of todays evening tasting with a few friends. Today the music is a bit different because not all like my Trance and Psy Trance, so we have settled on some EDM and hits from the 80s Thank you Tony for the nice and very rare sample. A pretty well balanced bottling at a premium price tag. The nose is well balanced with roasted wood, cherry, light apple and caramel. The palate is round and medium intense with wood, caramel, spice, pear and chocolate. The finish is long, oily and light spicy with roasted wood and cherry.

A very discreet nose with some hints: woody, chocolatey, and spicy. On the palate, it's soft and refined, not aggressive at the attack, super round, roundness in all its splendor. Actually, the alcohol is very well integrated, melted into a very marked reduction. Chocolate with water, deep but not overpowering soft woodiness. Notes of Nashi pear and light coffee. The finish seems short because it is so discreet, but it lingers with woody notes hiding a slight very ripe banana! I always find it a shame to feel the reduction. However, it's a very beautiful rum in finesse; we would have gained personality with just a few degrees more.
