The PX finish unfortunately overpowers the base product. So you basically have no chance to taste the base product, let alone make a statement about the Australian.

Amazing honeydew melon on the nosing. Super oily and thick, and the alcohol is incredibly well integrated. I can't imagine a better rum for a dark Maduro cigar! Sure, the PX Sherry definitely overpowers the distillate, but I don't care right now because it's so delicious...
