31.12.2022 Our yearly New Year party where we try new rums mixed with the personal bests. Notes Transparent in colour. Nose Fresh, Agricole, grass, light citrus, light berries, floral. Palate Round, fresh, vegetal, Agricole, light citrus, strawberry, medium dry, faint metallic, light mint. Finish Medium to long, warm, round, light oily, light citrus, light pineapple, light floral. Extra note. I love these bottles with their paintings of local stuff.

On the nose: Canejuice leaning towards mineral and olive notes. Light citrus notes. Light salty notes.Light flower notes. Balanced. Taste: Sugarcane notes. Mineral notes. Light citrus notes. Mouthfeel is slightly creamy. Balanced. Very good abv integration. Finish: Light herbal notes.Light sugarcane notes. Light olive notes. Medium-long finish. Unaged sugarcane rum that is leaning towards mineral and little bit of olive notes. For a unaged agricole rum, everything seems quite well balanced in this rum. I honestly could sip this rum all night. I happy that i own a bottle of this rum

Neisson is one of the smallest distilleries on Martinique and one of the two independent family houses among the island's classic AOC distilleries. It ferments with its own native yeast, distils on an all-copper Savalle still and makes what many call the island's finest white rhum.
