Bristol Port Mourant 2010
People who already know the Port Mourant double-wooden-pot style are the natural audience here. Expect peaches, pear and plum up front, then burnt sugar, orange peel and espresso, with that signature anise threading through. A couple of tasters flag a soapy note that creeps in, and there's a light whisky-like edge early on. The 45% reduction is well judged — round, oily, easy to sip slowly.
- Fruity peach-plum nose
- Signature anise depth
- Well-judged reduction

How does Bristol Port Mourant 2010 taste?
Aggregated from 18 community reviews.
Classic Port Mourant: fruity, anise, burnt sugar Most see a classic continental PM done right: fruity, anise-driven, well-reduced. A few find a soapy note a little too pronounced, and the whisky-like opening won't suit everyone.

I kind of like it! The dilution is well chosen. For me, like a mixture of PM and MM, with MM somewhat dominant.
Review by Double Barrel
Fruity! A soapy note a tad too pronounced.
