26.02.2023 Enjoying some samples at home. Colour Medium dark in colour. Nose Medium intense, faint wood, fruity, overripe, banana, light varnish, faint honey, ester. Palate Medium intense, wood, light roasted, warm, fruity, overripe, light banana, faint smoke, ester. Finish Long and warm, wood, light roasted, fruity, banana, faint caramel, ester. Needs to rest to really settle properly.

A young WP, but with a high ester content (just a Worthy Park Extra - WPE, i.e. up to 800). Nose: Esters are definitely at the forefront. But there is also something that I would put towards chocolate. However, I find this contribution a little disturbing, not a missing note, but somewhat inappropriate. But there is also fermented fruit, red apple and guava as well as some diluted maple syrup and sugar water. A deep draw brings out the vinegar. Not bad at all for so young. 7,5 Palate: initially astringent with pleasant esters. Immediately followed by light pineapple and banana, perhaps also ripe guava. There is also some caramel and marzipan together with brioche. Overall a little edgy, but a decent WPE for only 2 years of maturation. 8,0

Salon Du Rhum 2024 One of the better Worthy Parks I have tasted. I recommend this one. Brussels Rhum Festival 15/03/2025 Stick to my score. So simple but yet so tasty. Good reference to Worthy Park.
