10.04.1987 Lanternen, Kolding (bygone bar). This one the bar had on their shelf. After they found out I liked rum they started to stick a few. Notes Medium dark to very dark in colour. Nose Fresh, light, wood, light caramel, fruits. Palate Light, wood, faint roasted, rough, berries, faint caramel, raisin. Finish Short to medium, wood, dried fruit, faint chocolate. 3.5 stars of 5 which should amount to 7.0 today. Extra note. Tried this one in a Rum'n'Coke and it also did pretty well with a lemon slice and fresh mint leaves.

Extremely sweet rum, tastes like there is sugar in it. Very difficult to categorize in terms of flavor, for me a bit too sweet and sticky. Both as a quick sip and after some time in the mouth. Too much of a good thing for me.
