Most helpful positive review
A typical Agricole smell, some vanilla, fruity, a bit of glue and smoke. The smoke is also present in the taste, somewhat reminiscent of whisky. Later besides wood, vanilla also appears.

This is not one of the better Agricole’s from Dillon. The nose is spicy but also rather sharp with aromas of vanilla and chocolate. At the palate the sharpness disappears and it’s rather smooth with flavors of wood, vanilla, chocolate, prunes and coconut. During the medium long finish is unfortunately the sharpness back again.

I find this rum okay for a 43%. Tastes slightly of caramel and nuts. Just how I imagine a brown rum from Martinique. The finish is also just average. Definitely not a bad buy ;-)
