The sherry cask is the whole show here — raisins, cherries and a chocolate-covered-cherry note that even one taster who dislikes that flavor admitted worked. Under it sits caramel, toffee and a slightly sweet, nutty body. Nice enough neat at room temperature, but a few people found it plain, a bit hot mid-palate, and picked up an additive edge behind the fruit.

Nummer 8 aus dem Tastillery Adventskalender. In der Nase dominante Holznoten. Nach einer Weile im Glas entfalten sich süßliche und fruchtige Noten mit Rosinigkeit vom Sherry Fass. Im Mund erst holzig, der Alkohol beißt für einen Moment. Dann Rosinen und rote Früchte mit etwas süße hintenraus. Ich finde es ist ein angenehmer und unkomplizierter Sipper.

Ein schöner süßer und Fruchtiger Rum. Im Abgang geht er in eine Richtung von Karamell und Toffee und man schmeckt die Lagerung in den Cherryfässen heraus. Pur kann man ihn gut trinken und genießen. Ich finde ihn ohne Eis bei Zimmertemperatur am Genuss-vollsten.

This bottle comes with a chain hanging from the cap, so right off the bat it's like the rum equivalent of that goth girlfriend you had in high school's nose ring. Sherry is big and fake. Too much much nose piercing. Follow through is cloying and tangy. A lot of vibes gone wrong like you bought Marylin Manson's later albums. Pours reddish golden. I dunno, just seems very fake. Had a shot in a flight at Swizzle.
