👃 Sweetness of caramelized sugar, coffee leaning towards espresso, 60% dark chocolate, viennoiseries with chocolate chips, melted caramel, soft vanilla. A fairly sticky and lively spicy woodiness. 😋 I find the alcohol less integrated than the nose might suggest. You find a lot of sweetness (pastries, caramel, nougatine, chocolate, vanilla, coffee dessert), boosted by quite a few lively spices (pepper, chili). ⛳ Medium to long length, quite warm and alcoholic. Another notch up on spices and roasted wood, vanilla, coffee, and chocolate. 💡 The old Nicaraguas are very interesting as cask strength, without improbable aging artifices or excessive reduction.

#4498 24.11.2023 The price is a bit steep compared to what you get (in my mind). Lightly fruity with nice pastries and nutty notes. The palate is fresh and has nice cherry notes. The finish is medium long, lightly dry with nice spices. The empty glass has some vanilla and light caramel.

Visit at Famille Ricci! Very indulgent rum, you drink cotton candy! Quite intense on the palate, rather medium length, fairly simple aromas. But in the end, pleasant, a good time.

A Nicaragua without sweetening, it’s much better! A very indulgent nose with chocolate in the foreground, then a mix of coconut and vanilla. On the palate it’s very indulgent, a real dessert, always with the same markers and a slightly spicy alcohol. It’s warm and round. The finish is average. Bravo Mr. Ricci for this beautiful selection work.

Generous nose, fresh, mentholated, caramelized, on candied fruits. Palate roasted, toasted, woody. Peppery spices, candied fruits peach banana, return of lavender. Long finish on Harlequin candies, intense roasting.
