For me a touch too musty. Update after 5 minutes. Now the rum becomes very spicy and complex. The agricole almost disappears.

Quite spicy-fruity Mauritius rum with 3y cognac finish. Personally, it has too little complexity and too few edges and corners for me. Nice interplay of spices like cinnamon, vanilla, walnuts and some milk chocolate together with grape jelly, red fruit compote and candied pears. Alcohol well integrated but overall a bit too boring for me.... I actually find the 11y old CDI St Aubin at drinking strength more exciting.

And the third Bottekill today... Simply amazingly well integrated alcohol. Saint Aubin is already different from the Grays... rather dark fruits with more woody notes. The alcohol is well integrated again. Simply very tasty!
