CoR Uitvlugt Guyana Ed. 4 1990
Pencil shavings, anise and dry green wood run through this 1990 Uitvlugt from The Colours of Rum. Several tasters note apple, herbs, light citrus and a mineral, almost Scotch-like austerity rather than the big oily Demerara style. At 48.4% it drinks gently. A few found it thin and a touch bitter on the finish, but it keeps revealing small things over a long sit.
The community says- Herbal and spicy
- Soft drinking strength
- But: Slightly thin body

Aggregated from 31 community reviews.
Dry, herbal old Uitvlugt, gentle strength Well-regarded 31-year Uitvlugt: herbal, spicy, minerally with pencil-shaving and anise notes. Drinks soft for its age, though some find it a little thin and bitter, less exciting than other 90s Demeraras.

12th GRF, Colors of Rum Tasting. Quick and short... Nose: Uit, orange, light herbs, slightly mineral. Palate: sweetish, bacony, a little oily and slightly burnt. Like a pm. Herbs, Not quite typical, but not bad, It becomes fruitier on the finish

More relaxed uitvlugt. Taste spicy bitter after chewed sucked pencil and dry with some apple. Skin me now but taste not really from the stool...

Review by Alex1981
Relaxed Uitvluigt with notes of apples, herbs, some wood & tannins. A bit bitter in the finish.
Review by SaibotZtar
Rather mild representative.... Apple, aniseed, some wood Quite ok but not very exciting for me.
Review by Palo - V Poháriku
Very unexpected finish with loads of "technical" notes, mostly sulphur.
Review by Oliver
Relaxed 1990 PM with decent drinking strength and mild wood influence.
Review by Johannes
Not as woody as other 90s PMs, but still rather astringent.
Review by DomM
Comparably light PM expressions. Well balanced and herbal.
