16.12.2022 Enjoying some samples at home with a good friend. Notes Medium to dark in colour. Nose Round, wood, grass, spice, light caramel, faint plum, clove, faint roasted. Palate Intense, wood, grass, cinnamon, light citrus, faint sugarcane, medium dry, raisin, faint caramel. Finish Medium to long, intense, light grass, light caramel, dried fruit, cinnamon, raisin. Extra note. Needs to rest for a while to really open up.

A bit tasty on vacation. Nose: fresh, fruity and slightly spicy. Initially intense yellow lemon and green apple, which also gives slight hints of dish soap or soap. Then some apricot and plum and a subdued sweetness like from a honeycomb. A spice mix with delicate clove and cardamom comes in. Chamomile and violet at the back. A bit too close to citrus dish soap, otherwise nice. 8.0 Palate: slightly bitter before intense soap with lemon and violet takes over. Salty-spicy with clove, caraway and nutmeg. Grassy-agricole typical at the end. Too young and simply not my profile. 7.2

Solid rum with nice complexity. Despite the young age already with a pleasant easy heaviness: honey and caramel sweetness meet herbal notes, roasted nuts, pepper, wood, nougat and dried fruits. On the palate still a bit short-winded, but still a more than accessible drop that certainly brings joy.
