#6829 23.05.2026 Running some evening samples while listening to some nice Trance tracks on Spotify. A pretty nice bottling with an OK price tag in my mind. Medium intense rum with nice overripe fruits, ester, leather, earthy and roasted wood with a touch of medicinal notes.

In the right corner, for Worthy Park: Worthy Park WPM 2006 – Nectar – 54% A molasses rum distilled in 2006, aged 15 years in a tropical climate before bottling in 2021. Nose: no mistake, this is definitely Jamaica with its ripe bananas, coconut, a menthol touch, and vanilla. A gourmand and promising nose. Palate: pleasant attack, less focused on tropical fruit, more on candied fruits. The Jamaican funk is well present. Finish: nice length, with wood, spices, and a freshness of eucalyptus. Verdict: a well-integrated, balanced rum, really enjoyable. Fight result 🥊 No suspense: the WP 2006 literally knocked out the Hampden Pagos. By applause meter, Worthy Park wins its first duel hands down!
