Moon Import Enmore Demerara Rum EHP 1994
Smoke and creosote lead the way, wrapped in dark raisin, oak and a burst of orange and bright fruit — one taster even catches rubber and tar in the mix. It's a proper old Enmore that drinks surprisingly easy at 46%, with a finish several members call very long. The sherry wood pulls the smoke, wood and dried fruit into one dark, coherent whole.

#4173 Now this is a nice rum. The roasted/smoky notes go really well in hand with the spices and fruits. Overall very good balance and a very long finish.
Review by Jakob
The reduced alcohol strength makes the rum accessible, but of course also somewhat thinner. Overall, a very harmonious profile, even if I would have liked a few more percentages.

A long lasting fruit basket! If it had more alcohol content....

A real experience, thank you Johannes

A caramelly sweetness on the nose, followed by some wood and raisin (dried fruit). The palate is then very complex, lots of fruit notes, some dirty tones and also something slightly bitter which I can't place but doesn't harm the rum. The rum is very round and harmonious. Really a great bottling.

Despite the only 46% a real taste explosion on the palate. I like very much - This rum drinks very easily, but still leaves a long time his wunderwar fruity flavors in the mouth. For the fact that this rum is stored only 7 years, he has an extraordinary complexity - orange, bright fruits and even sthass rubber and tar - from my point of view a perfect easy Sipper which makes extremely fun - most unfortunate that DDL does not put out something like this as a standard range and it was available this rum only as a really not cheap Nieschenveröffentlichung and you do not get to something like this usually, especially at a reasonable price. I am really flashed by this sample😌.
