Probiert an zwei verschiedenen Tagen. Was für ein Kracher, was für ein Fantastischer Rum. Meine Frau wollte das Glas mit dem Sample gar nicht mehr hergeben. Farbe: Goldener Bernstein Geruch: Wow, riecht der aber lecker. Intensiv, rund und süß nach reifen tropischen Früchten, Melasse mit einer Riesenportion Fudge (Vanille Karamell Toffee). Der Alkohol ist gut eingebunden. Geschmack: Nochmal wow! Unglaublich lecker. Im Mund zunächst süß, dann übernimmt der hohe Alkoholgehalt. Beim Schlucken dann sehr kräftig, vollmundig, süß, alkoholisch und würzig aromatisch mit Aromen von Melasse, Fudge (Vanille, Karamell, Toffee), Sandelholz, Zimt, reifen tropischen Früchten (Papaya) und getrockneten Datteln. Abgang: Lang, wärmt von tief innen. Bleibt dabei süß und immer angenehm. Die Aromen aus dem Geschmack halten lange an.

Grenade. still for me one of the best PLV cask strength rums on the market. ❤️🙏🇦🇬 compared to the new english harbour straight From the cask this one is ne track ahead as it has much more flavors to offer and I like it even better overall, more fruit, more power and more complexity.💥 My absolute #1 Antigua rum! Too bad I did not get here at the time for the ridiculous uvp of ~60€ directly ne box. Simply delicious!

This is unmistakably an English Harbour. The taste is quite much like the 5yo, but with much longer and stronger finish. My feeling is that it tastes very much like an genuine and typical rum a little from the past.

This is one of my benchmark ‘go to’ drinking rums! Well rounded, still remarkably well priced and amazing value for money compared to others on the market at current! It has some stunning traits of a dirty Caroni rum (glue and dirty/solvent like notes) but the other ‘fresher’ notes are far more prominent. The alcohol burn is quite forceful upon the first sip however this develops into lots of vanilla and an almost ‘Jaffa Cake’ like flavour when the young woody notes and orange notes combine... love it and always keep a bottle spare in the rum cellar, even if it doesn’t hang around long!

Belle découverte, rhum gourmand sur un profil typique Barbade foursquare avec coco, vanille, fruits à coque, concentration sympa. Bref. Beau rhum très agréable à boire. Par contre, avis personnel, je vais plutôt acheter un truc moins cher et plus facile à trouver pour avoir la même chose dans le verre.

Love it. High quality rum with lots of character, complexity, and fullness of flavor. One of those rums where every sip is exciting as you discover something a little new each time. Very very good. Shame that the prices have run away completely from this one.

Nach drei Jahren mal wieder im Glas. Bei einem blind Tasting würde ich wohl auf Foursquare tippen. Sehr schöne nussige und vanillaromen in der Nase und auf der Zunge. Alkohol ist super eingebunden. Aber die damalige Euphorie teile ich nicht mehr. Super Rum, aber kein Einhorn.

Ein besonders gefälliger Vertreter aus Antigua. Ein tolles rundes Geschmacksprofil mit den typischen, schönen Antigua-Noten. Dabei ausgesprochen weich mit gut eingebundenem Alkohol. Herussstechende Abfüllung aus Antigua!

Surprisingly refined for its young age, this rum offers a long, satisfying finish with rich layers of vanilla, caramel, toffee, warm spices, coconut, and subtle hints of oak, toasted wood, and sweetness.

I like the nose a little better than the two English Harbour High Congener Series, as it just smells more sweet and fruity. Well balanced, but rather spicy in the mouth. The finish is very woody and also spicy, with the fruit coming up a little short for me. Otherwise a solid overall package.
