I liked it extremely well. Not quite the level of the RA NYE94, but very good. Unfortunately, priced too ambitious and therefore it has remained with a sample.

Beautifully sweet, creamy, like caramel. A great choice for rum drinkers who want to switch from sweet syrups to pure spirit. New Yarmouth 1994 rarely disappoints. This is a great choice that you will always want to come back to.

Next one New Yarmouth 1994. Already tasted from Samaroli & Valinch & Mallet. Nose: Already better, then Samaroli. Old sandal wood, bibliotheque, vintage leather, rancio. Spices: nutmeg, clove, vanilla & winterly spices. Dry fruits, like prunes, dates, apricots. Varnish, some mocha, resin, touch of cola & gingerbread. Palate: I'm add some water, 'cuz 67,4% abv little bit to high. Nuts ! Something between cashews, roasted almonds & pecan. Sweet burnt sugar, mocha, sandal & cedar wood, leather, custard, dark chocolate. Cinnamon, clove, nutmeg. Little bit bitter notes & rubber. Aftertaste: long, dark & bitterness. Roasted wood, coffee, rubber, varnish. Like veeeeery old bourbon. Again this spices, classic winter complect. Conclusion: well, this all a column rum, not a pot still. And we have the very long maturation. That why it's a typical overmatured style. Dominate of dark, wooden, spicy notes. It's still tasty, but not a great.
