June 2022. Hale Pele. mint, oak, vanilla, little bit of rubber - - bit harsh on the finish, definitely herbal with some sage - tobacco finish

Definitely better without adding water. Water just muted everything. Has a nice tongue burn without being overpowering. Tried in a Neat glass, Glencairn mixer glass, and a Bourbon Trail glass. Neat did nothing for the smell or taste. Glencairn opened up a lot more fruit notes. The Bourbon trail was the best of the lot.

First time I've had an Australian rum, and it was better than I expected. Lemon zest, herbals. Florals. Light golden pour. A hint of passion fruit on the end. Some oak. Flight of Transcontinental at Casta's.
