Great Enmore in the KFM style without being too bitter and dry. Intense, complex and pleasantly dry. Best overall package in the KFM cross-tasting.

Note: Employment at Perola GmbH (spirits industry), partial professional involvement with the evaluated bottlings. All reviews are my personal, unpaid opinion. Mint, sour cherry, dried plum and leather, as well as wood and fruit bread on the nose. This one is really fun! On the palate very dry, distinctly bitter, strong black tea, mint, cassis, leather, licorice and very oily and long-lasting. Alcohol is perfectly integrated and the finish feels like it lasts forever... At the very end, almost liquid lavender oil comes through in taste, very cool. You have to be into it; for me, the only KFM so far that brings enough power without that otherwise so annoying pencil shaving note... but also a class of its own price-wise! I prefer the 94 REVs much more. But in terms of KFM 91 definitely in the top league!

Tasting Bellamy with Artur. A very dark rum with a nose darkened by the years, very woody but bitter cherry and prunes bring fruitiness. The palate is even darker than the nose, the rum is oily, very woody up to a strong bitterness but, for me, not prohibitive. Leather, prune. All aromas are dark. You feel like you are in the cellar of a castle, several meters underground, in near darkness and surrounded by damp oak barrels. A dark but quite interesting story. The empty glass reveals prune and cherry, lots of leather and wood. Liquid history, fascinating and memorable.

Wow, he has a beautiful nose: a beguiling fragrance fills the room. Complex and intense, spicy, woody, toasty. Lovage and Maggi are the first things that come to mind. In addition, old, aged scented wood. A spicy-sweet and slightly sour mix of dark honey, caramel and molasses make it very round. Dried orange and currant, and very dark cherry bring fruitiness. Leather, malt and mocha underscore the toasty character. Beautiful, intense and full-bodied palate: powerfully spicy, woody and toasty. Initially bitter-salty with lots of wood acidity, then malty with nutmeg and mocha. Out the back leather and dried currant with mint and green tea. A great flavor curve.In the appendix woody-spicy with mint, tea, lavender and some pencil.👍

Delicious spiciness on the nose. Lots of dark fruit (berries, plum) also some dirty notes, good wood but everything very harmonious. A bit of vanilla and mint. On the palate wonderfully complex. Light sweetness followed by a true fireworks of aromas. Bitterness fortunately stays within limits and makes this drop especially good for me. Great stuff!!

The rum is powerful, heavy, oily and warm with a wonderful interplay of smoke, chocolate, fruit, wood, oil, mint, leather and licorice. A lot happens and the rum has a fantastic and long-lasting aftertaste, in which mint, leather, medicinal notes and wood linger on the tongue and palate for a long time.

Very nice dirty note and wonderfully long finish. Update: compared to the Nobilis, this one still holds its own. Less bitter, dirtier and a nice floral note of lavender.

Super KFM. The profile is very complex with a top balance. A very good bottling, even if it won't be my favorite profile. On the nose very spicy with scents of cumin, curry leaves, brown sauce, leather, coffee and fruits. In the mouth it remains spicy with plenty of mint but also plastic and leathery/woody. Black tea and meaty notes come in addition. The finish is also intense and lasts long.

Wow, this one hits the nail and I'd be close to adding "heavy" on it as well. Very sting roasted and wood notes with warm/spicy palate as well as plum/prunes with a minty touch. Price to quality is very good in my mind.

Blind gift sample. I was thinking of a very want Versailles or Diamond. Well it will be Enmore. First KFM for me. This is great. Everything I love about Guyana. The candied Prune that blends so well with the darker aromas of chocolate, coffee and old leather, all with a bit of bitterness that comes in the form of citrus. It is really excellent. Thanks Serge!

Oh yes, rum is also simply something fine. Especially when you can drink such a special drop. For me, Enmore close to perfection. The alcohol is incredibly well integrated, so that the rum is dangerously quaffable. Simply great.

Heavy KFM with a lot to offer. Oily, woody, great dark color. More happening at the back. Alcohol very well integrated. I am not a fan of this mark, but this one can convince me.

In the other glass, the Nobilis KFM 91/29. On the nose, the Bellamy's seems more balanced. The Nobilis comes somehow a little 'rougher' and more gripping. I wouldn't necessarily have expected that, given the low ABV of the Nobilis. But maybe it's the 2 more years in the barrel that gave Bellamy's even more balance. Who knows...on the palate, I do notice the higher ABV of the Bellamy's. It brings out the tobacco, leather, mint notes more noticeably. Overall, the Bellamy's is slightly above the Nobilis, but it doesn't quite match the excellent RA KFM 91/31 from earlier this year.

Needs at least half an hour of air exposure so that the robust oak loses some of its lacquered and high-gloss polished presence and gives more room to the dark dried fruits, herbs and spice elements, while the bitterness remains within a tolerable range. Then the gate to "spirit heaven" opens, if you (like me) like dark Guyana rums.

Tasted at the Village 2024 in Nuremberg. And I learned not to let myself be guided too much by expectations. During a visit to Serge, I rejected the rum, certain that it would be too woody for me. Thanks to Serge, I tried it again at the fair and yes, it is woody, but in such a delicious way that we had to save the opened bottle. And the next day we bought another full bottle. Even the slight lavender note doesn't bother me here.

noticeably Guyana on the nose with herbal and even more spicy notes that start dominating the nice touch of raisins and dried fruits you smell from the beginning. Burnt caramel. 😳omg! Quite bitter on the palate and very dominated by the wood. The dried fruits regrettably vanished. Behind the bitterness is a hint of mint. (rather eukalyptus, but for the sake of rhyme…)

So, sample destruction today. On the nose, cassis, cherry, plum, dried fruit, nicely integrated into the wood, spicy, tarry, minty notes accompany the whole. Also a slight pencil note is noticeable. On the palate likewise, intense wood paired with a nice spiciness. Also oily, tarry notes, followed by leather and a slight bitterness, wonderful. Great and incredibly long finish. Tastes woody, minty, paired with a slight pencil-lavender note. Great stuff you can have endlessly on the palate!

I picked well today. This is a great KFM right from the first sip. Heavy fruitiness at the start gives way and wood, plums, coffee tones, black tea start to attack. At the end bitterness full of licorice and menthol prevails. That finish is fantastically long and you can smell licorice many minutes after the last sip. Here a glass is enough for the whole evening.
