#5639 07.09.2025 Enjoying a few unaged rums while cleaning after yesterday's tasting event. Nose Fresh, medium intense, fruits, sugarcane, vanilla, anise, floral, Agricole. Palate Oily, medium intense, sugarcane, light mango, citrus, dry, peppery, floral, spice. Finish Long and warm, sugarcane, light floral, citrus, oily, dry, peppery. Empty glass Citrus, vanilla, flowery, light mango.

Makes a very tasty Ti-Punch, which is also well received by ladies and rum beginners.

The nose is fantastic, very complex and absolutely rounded with marzipan, cakes, butter, roasted hazelnuts, sugar cane, vegetables, vanilla, tropical fruits, tobacco and slight floral. The palate is round with mostly peppery notes, then hazelnuts, honey, licorice and vanilla, crème caramel, in a warm finish. I prefer the aroma to the taste, excellent white. Incredible, I love Bologne, the yellow jersey, basically, but this one is clearly above, much richer in flavor, it's one of the best finishes I've tasted so far, so much is happening in the mouth, the flavors change... In one word: incredible!
