Well-liked among the people who've tried it, and the Madeira DNA is the whole draw. Expect red-wine tannins, dried red fruit and baking spice sitting over fresh sugarcane, vanilla and a biscuity sweetness. A cool menthol-mint streak runs through the finish. At 48.8% the alcohol stays well integrated, and the body turns oily and soft on the palate. One taster sums it up: "strong, bold with Madeira hint."

Pleasant smell, for me dominates a fresh note paired with wood and some fruit.An incredible mouthfeel, super soft and pleasantly oily. Fruity notes are in the foreground in the taste, out the back comes some menthol to it.The nose is good, the taste the hammer!

grandiose Madeira Rum!on the nose dark dark chocolate and mint, plus red berries, vanilla and caramel cookies. very tasty!taste then again cocoa, discreet mint, roasted pecans, pepper and in the finish everything goes in the direction of fruit bread with dried fruit but also a few exotic fruits like mango and papaya over. all Accompanied by a light menthol freshness and not too much wood. very nice!

Madeira rum. obviously loads of madeira flavours, baking spices, tannins, dried red fruits. Very thick flavoured. Simply lovely.

A beautifully fruity nose. Mango and raspberry mixing effortlessly with vanilla and freshly baked biscuits. The palate has big hits of red wine tannins. There's also a floral honey note and some sugarcane which fades into a dark chocolate. The finish isn't too long. Quite spiced. Cloves and the dark chocolate from the palate. A very nice madeiran. The red wine notes aren't for me, but you can tell that this is a quality bottling.

Great Madeira. Not so powerful, but very typical aromatic & have a really good profile. Nose: fresh sugarcane, mint, herbals, melon, basil, apricot, chamomile or other yellow flowers, lot of citrus & honey. Taste: Bright, fresh, dry. More tasted oak, honey, nutmeg, brioche, grapefruit, camphor, some waxe & menthol. Aftertaste: long fresh, fruity. Herbs, minty, ginger & cardamon. Some dry oak. Lot of yellow fruits. Love this style.
