The rum has quite a woody nose but with definitely sweet notes of vanilla. You can sense French oak with slight hints of sugarcane. On the palate, the barrel aging is more noticeable. Lots of wood and vanilla with pleasant notes of dried fruits. A bit sour and a finish where honey can be detected.
