#5459 06.07.2025 Enjoying a few samples after the birthday guests have left and that is really needed 😊 Nose Intense, wood, light roasted, ester, banana, overripe, light varnish, faint nutts, faint herbal, faint smoke. Palate Oily, intense, fresh, warm, light wood, banana, overripe, light citrus, spice, light herbal, light dry. Finish Very long and warm, fruity, ester, light wood, citrus, spice, light caramel. Empty glass Light caramel, light chocolate, light pineapple, faint coffee.

Initially metallic sweet on the tip of the tongue, then a fruit bomb on the palate. Mushy, overripe banana and pineapple, then a bit bitter like green pear but heavily funky like Jamaica dancing on the tongue. The alcohol is initially sharp, with a few drops of water it becomes more pleasant and you can work out the individual aromas more finely. Fun!

Quite a nice sipper, but unfortunately nothing more. Thanks to Jarek for letting me have another bottle. Edit: I've now tried it as a mixer. Yes, in my opinion it can do more than neat. Very drinkable. That's why it didn't last long.

Pub Alte Post Witten February 2025. Now a Worthy Park from Wagemut. On the nose we mainly have esters, banana and red wine. On the palate then lots of ester, banana and glue, also it feels a bit overripe.

You can taste everything that's on the label—except Hampden, I don't taste that. WP dominates, alcohol could be better integrated.
