Note: Employment at Perola GmbH (spirits industry), partial professional involvement with evaluated bottlings. All reviews are my personal, unpaid opinion. Incredibly beautiful daily sipper. Very relaxed and tasty. For me probably the best cask strength rum from El Salvador on the market so far and really reasonably priced. Definitely one of the better El Salvador single casks.

Delicious Spanish rum with an intense nose. A little too dry/spicy in the mouth and the alcohol is not optimally integrated, which is why I deduct a few points. However, the aromas are intense and harmonious. A solid package at a pleasant drinking strength at a reasonable price.

Rum Friendly Club Day 2. A rich nose, yellow fruits, peach and banana, with incense and like cannabis caramel. The alcohol is present on the palate and helps the aromas express themselves. The banana, peach and caramel are well there, fleshy. A vegetal side but also a bit metallic with young woods and incense. The finish is more metallic, the fruits have disappeared but it is supported by a nice bitterness.

#7184 19.08.2026 Relaxing with a few samples after a nice bike training. Listening to some tracks by Charlotte de Witte on Spotify. Very nice rum with a good price tag at release in my mind. A natural sweet profile with fruits, spice, caramel, nuts, roasted wood and light salt.

Oh wow, a very good rum. Nicely nutty on the nose with a lovely vanilla scent. The light vanilla and nut flavor on the palate rounds this rum off wonderfully. The alcohol is very well integrated.

Delicious rum with fine milk chocolate, toffee and oak notes. Perfect for the transition from the sweet rum area.

Nothing groundbreaking on the nose, dried fruit, cinnamon, nuts, caramel. The taste goes in a similar vein. As a downside, I consider the interchangeability with FS or Travellers. On the other hand, it is very drinkable, definitely not offensive and has just the right strength.

Wow, totally different Cihuatán. I would guess some guyana. Full body with nougat taste. Unfortunatelly, no aftertaste. Otherwise, it would be superb!
