#4618 17.02.2024 Relaxing with a few rums after training on my bike after a longer break. Thanks to Roberto for the samples. Nose Intense and kind of green, fruity, ester, glue, light tar, floral, faint olive. Palate Oily, intense, fruity, ester, dry, floral, salty olive, light medicinal. Finish Dry, medicinal, light smoke, fruity, olive. Draws really nice curtains in the glass. The empty glass has some clove and solvents.

Wie zu erwarten ist das Geschmackserlebnis recht intensiv und primär geprägt von Fruchtaromen. Der Alkohol ist natürlich erkennbar, überlagert aber den Rest des Aromenspektrums nicht. Man muss für diese „Experimente“ offen sein, wer aber auf das ungefilterte Rumerlebnis steht, findet hier ein tolles Release.

Phuuu, Olive sehr präsent was ich gar nicht mag, wie der Creol von Savanna. Ansonsten tiptop für die Alkoholstärke, aber hab sowas auch schon im Cocktail versucht, Olive bleibt. Wenn man es mag, gut. Wenn man es nicht mag, dann schmeckt man es halt immer noch zu sehr.
