#5255 18.04.2025 Enjoying some samples at home while listening to some nice EDM. Nose Fresh, medium intense, vegetal, citrus, light coconut, light mint, light earthy. Palate Intense, fresh, vegetal, medium spicy, light tea, olive, citrus, faint salt, light coconut. Finish Long and warm, medium spicy, light earthy, olive, light floral, sugarcane. Empty glass Light herbal, sugarcane, citrus, light cardamom, light coconut.

The banana jumps out at me on the nose, pepper on the palate. Very good rum with unbeatable value for money.

Discovered during a Masterclass on fermentation with the new cellar master of Bologne, then directly in Guadeloupe, the Salako is very nice! A very pretty white rum, very fresh, of course the sugarcane is very fresh and with a pleasant little iodized side. Very round and soft with the sweetness of the cane, ideal in tipunch as well as for tasting neat.
