6:On the nose, this is indeed a spiced rum. Spices and licorice are present, but vanilla is even more so. There's also a hint of cherry. 6,4:Sweet on the palate. The ever-present spices (clove) are joined this time by orange. Vanilla is also present.. 6:The finish is sweet, on spices and vanilla. Drinkable also neat.... Edit:1.8.25

50ml sample Gloopy and the colour of cola Nose: Not very strong but Battenberg cake with glace cherries Some spices which you'll find in a normal aged rum Mouth: Who hasn't ordered a vanilla mocha with three teaspoons of brown sugar? Again, there's spice Finish: Very sugary coffee, chocolate with some spice thrown in. It's the same mouth feel you get after a sweetened iced latte. As such, lasts fairly long. Impression: Not massively offensive either way, which probably explains it's popularity. I think there's hope for fans of this rum to move on to different rums, though it's closer to a liqueur, particularly in the finish.

Nicht schlecht aber auch nicht mein Favorit zum puren trinken. Als Backzutat im Christstollen ist er allerdings wirklich eine Wucht und als "Cola-Rum" ebenfalls in Ordnung. Eindeutig der bessere Mixer als Skipper.

Kein schlechter Spiced-Rum für Vanille und Gewürz Fans. Im Geschmack kommt die Vanille weniger durch als im Geruch. Definiv süß - aber nicht zu süß im Geschmack. Weit weniger als z. B. Don Papa Baroko. Im Mule kommt die Vanille-Note leicht durch, ganz interessante Kombination mit der Schärfe des Ginger Beer. Drinks: - Pur: 3.5/5 - Rum Cola: 3/5 (Vanilla-Coke, etwas künstlich) - Rum Mule: 3.5/5

A distinctive, spicy rum, as the writing on the label says. With a very dark amber color, very pronounced, even spicy, hints of spice are immediately felt both on the nose and palate, including licorice, which persist even in the sufficiently long finish. It is not exactly a meditation Rum, but then again, that is what can be expected after reading the label. A rum, therefore, to be drunk lightheartedly in company and in merriment, which may also appeal to the female audience given its sweetness. Chocolate not recommended, if you want you can use it for a Rum and Coke. Very low price.
