It reminds me a lot of Haitian Clairin. A kind of oily saltiness. A lot of scent. It's got a nice sweet cane, fruit. There's a saltiness, a smokiness on the finish. I recommend all ten to try it.

Floral and mineral, salty through to olive brine. Slightly bacony and with a hint of menthol on the nose. Sweet and creamy in the mouth, and indeed: strawberry. Completely new and wild for me, and really impressive. Extremely mild for its 57%. A hint of the salty olive resonates, which only makes it more exciting. Should make a fantastic daiquiri.

Classic Le Galion Grand Arôme profile, but here without too extreme excesses. Aromatically complex bottling designed for use at the bar, but also neat in the glass.

Ve vůni květnatě ovocná vůně. V chuti je to krásný marmeládový la gallion. Velmi sladký profil s ovocným průběhem. Celé je to příjemné, ale nejzajímavější na tomhle rumu je závěr který jde do jahodových tónů. On-line degustace řady S.B.S origin s Joshua Singh pořádaná rum explorer 24.2.2025 Dnešní master class se bude skládat z dvou částí - dnes chutnáme čisté rumy, příště porovnáme v daiquiri. Koktejlové hodnocení přidám později.

Penultimate rum for today, Le Gallon from World Class Spirits. Really good for an impatient rum, nice fruity nose, also herbal and a little ester. Also predominantly fruity and herbal on the palate, again a little ester. Alcohol well integrated.

This is a pretty good white rum and I'm enjoy it while looking forward to the bottles I have to pick up tomorrow. Fruity and you can easily pick up the esters in it as well. Dry and fruity on the palate. A very good buy whether you want it pure, on the rocks or in a mixer.
