07.01.2023 relaxing at home with a friend whilst enjoying some samples. Dark in colour. Nose Sweet, medium intense, light wood, faint smoke, light caramel, faint chocolate, berries, light vegetal. Palate Varm, light wood, fruity, light cherry, light coconut, faint polich, faint chocolate, light citrus, warm, light tannins. Finish Long and warm, medium intense, lightly dry, fruits, faint herbs, light licorice, faint leather.

Exzellenter Vertreter der 1994er. Super schön rund auch der Alkohol ist schön eingebunden. Tolle Kokusnussnoten. Die Fruchtigkeit könnte vielleicht ein wenig besser sein. Aber die New Yarmouth 1994 machen einfach immer Spass.

Wow, was für eine Power! Eine wahre Aromabombe mit präsentem, aber gut integriertem Alkohol. Wirkt wie ein sehr guter Foursquare (Kokosnuss!) für Erwachsene. Man muss sich drauf einlassen, wird dann aber mit richtig Power und Flavour belohnt. Sehr guter New Yarmouth des „1994er-Stils“!

Wieder mal ein sehr sehr guter Vertreter der NY94! Im Vergleich zu meinem persönlichen Benchmark RA94 vielleicht etwas weniger intensiv, kürzerer Abgang. Aber alles Jammern auf hohem Niveau!

Wieder Mal ein super 94er New Yarmouth. Alkohol gut eingebunden, Aromatisch viel geröstete Kokos, etwas Schokolade, geräucherte Mandeln, Zimt und leichte Ester... spielt definitiv in der oberen Liga mit!

Ein weiterer sehr guter 1994 New Yarmouth, auch wenn er für meinen Geschmack nicht so ganz an die Spitze heranreicht. Dafür ist der Alkohol nicht ganz so gut eingebunden und es fehlt ihm minimal an Komplexität . Wohl gemerkt zur Spitze. Er vereinigt all die klassischen und herrlichen Aromen des NY

Wieder ein Klasse NY94, eine wahre Kokosnuss-Vanille Bombe. Am Gaumen samtig, vollmundig. Schon viel Holz, aber das stört mich hier gar nicht. Der Alkohol ist präsent, hätte für meinen Geschmack etwas besser eingebunden sein können, deswegen 0,1 Punkte Abzug, dass ist bei anderen Abfüllungen besser gelungen.

New Yarmouth lineup. Die Nase hat etwas von Gebäck. Vielleicht ist es die Vanille. Der Geschmack wundervoll ausgewogen. Schön karamellig. Ein echt toller rum und mein Highlight des Abends. Muss ich nachkaufen. Ein Traum.

8,6:On the nose, the first impression we get is estery with overripe tropical fruits like banana, mango, with roasted wood and notes from it like burnt sugar, caramel, nuts, vanilla and toasted coconut. The spices are warm and sweet with cinnamon, so we might think of a winter rum. On aeration, the fruits become dried and citrusy, cocoa is released, some pear and molasses is more intense. 8,7:On the palate, the attack is syrupy with caramelized roasted wood with sweet spices and toasted coconut, roasted nuts, vanilla, toffee and leather. After a while, it becomes dry, a bit bitter with resinous wood, dark chocolate and herbal molasses, the fruits are yellow bourbony and creamy with ripe banana. Very balanced. 8,6:The finish is woody, dry, tannic and roasted with caramel, vanilla, nuts and coconut. The fruits are yellow and banana.There is some tobacco and baking spices with cinnamon, clove.

Ein ausdrucksstarker 1994er mit schönem Kokos-Einschlag, ich empfehle "Ihm" etwas Zeit zu schenken. Sehr würziger Vertreter mit äußerst stabilen Tanninen. Ein wenig Demerara Flow begleitet den Aftertaste. Ein Stabiler Rum aus der 94er Range.
