Pub The Rumah Rotterdam April 2026. Then to finish, a really strong Swell that knows how to impress. Typical Belize, lots of chocolate and vanilla, but it’s also quite woody, and coconut is clearly noticeable here too.

Could be much milder ... Nevertheless, a nice Belize with good cojones and a fairly typical profile! But the alcohol could be much better integrated, hence slight deductions in the overall rating.

👃 What a Foursquare... What do I say, what a Belize! Very pastry-like and woody. Caramel, toasted coconut, baked vanilla, dried fruits, toasted hazelnuts, sugar-baked banana, pecan chocolate chip cookie dough, slight fresh glue. Very American oak from the Bourbon barrel actually. Intensity and concentration define this nose. Let's not lie, the alcohol stings the nostrils a bit. 😋 Very lively, you can feel the 67 horses! We find our favorite trio again, toasted coconut/vanilla caramel cream/banana chocolate/dark chocolate banana. It's no longer a trio 😅 Then come dried fruits that you find in old grape eaux-de-vie, a grandmother's pastry vibe, candied fruit cake. Power and liveliness are in command on this palate. ⛳ Long, warm, spicy, sharp. Very trigeminal finish. The white oak barrel tannins are having a field day. Toasted coconut, dried fruits and raisins, dried vanilla, salted almonds (almost a little bacon-flavored chip aftertaste), spicy chocolate. 🥉 Lots of aromas and flavors, a very rich and indulgent profile, almost bordering on cloying, but everything is balanced. Too bad the alcohol lacks integration, especially on the palate and the start of the finish. 💡 For those looking for a Bourbon and/or a Foursquare-like from another land and who aren't afraid to (a little) burn their palate.

Un rhum de Travellers qui se veut aussi puissant que gourmand. La noix de coco et la banane se partagent le nez avec le caramel, le biscuit et le sucre brun pour un côté à la fois opulent et onctueux. Le chocolat au lait et les épices vont de pair avec un boisé gourmand et les notes grillées de noisette pour offrir une sorte de bonbon olfactif. En bouche, l’alcool est dompté par les notes pâtissières de caramel au beurre et de toffee. Il y a un côté sirupeux qui rend le rhum très gouleyant. Chocolat, noix de coco, gâteau, cookie, fruits secs, muscade et vanille forment la colonne vertébrale au palais. Un rhum extrêmement moelleux et facile d’approche. La finale est de bonne longueur, sur des arômes similaires. Le toffee, l’amande et la touche saline et de cognac donnent un peu de consistance en fin de bouche. Un très bon rhum, mais sûrement trompeur de par son haut degré et ses arômes des plus doux. Une excellente alternative pour les débutants dans le monde du rhum.

On the nose: Vanilla, coconut, cookies, milk chocolate notes and fruity notes like banana and light papaya maybe. Palate reminds me little bit of pastries and biscuits. Taste: Creamy mouthfell. Light vanilla, light coconut, banana notes, milk chocolate notes. Overall the palate reminds me of pastries. The abv could be integrated better. Finish: Woody notes. Vanilla. Light coconut notes. Banana notes. Light spicy notes like peppers. It does have a nice palate, but the integration of alcohol could be better and that bother me in aotherwise good rum.

Great complex rum from Belize. Lots of coconut and tropical fruits from nose to finish. Alongside light barrel notes, burnt sugar, butterscotch, banana and spices – from nose through palate to finish in different expressions. For me a really good rum!

A particularly good Travellers. Very balanced nose, also on the palate and finish. The finish is super fruity with banana, coconut, and raisin, which is very rare in this intensity. Caramel, chocolate, and roasted aromas are constant companions.

Superb this swell once again. A real little candy, especially after an aeration of at least 20/30 minutes. Very greedy, nice length, lots of aroma and complexity and nice integration of the alcohol. I love it 🤩😍

On the nose: you mostly smell the alcohol vapors. On the palate: the alcohol stings at first (probably too much)! On the taste: first a lot of mature, slightly toasted coconut, then a bit of vanilla and some raisins. The finish: average, reminiscent of a pastry mixing these ingredients with raisins matured in alcohol. You might also sense a slight complex woodiness at the end. Overall: the alcohol stings at first but I really like this Belize for the intense coconut and the raisins in alcohol in the end. For now, it's the only Belize I find truly interesting 😋

A travellers rum from Belize. Dark amber. On the nose woody, coconut, caramel sweetness and roasted. ABV comes through. On the palate quite sweet. Brown sugar, dark caramel. Also woody/spicy here. A few espresso aromas. The alcohol is quite present and carries a decent warmth into the long finish on the palate flavors. The flavor combination with distinct sweetness and the dark notes with clearly noticeable ABV is not really my thing.

With 9.5, we are obviously in my top 3! What a nose again and always! Such finesse in the wood, never encountered such a perfection in the wood, it’s extremely indulgent! The palate remains very powerful at first but then reveals the entire aromatic palette of this exceptional rum!! Almond, pastry, shortcrust pastry, with again this touch of varnish and alcohol which remains very present. Very long finish on warmth and a relatively moderate sweetness.

First time i tried it, i felt "wow, such a smooth Belize! " I would say it is one of top 3 belize i ever tried if not the best so far. Alcohol integration was magic, it is mostly warm with just a little burn that lays to the back and back sides of the tounge, clear classic belize vanilla/coconut/citrusfruit with no corners cut. I can only blame myself that i didnt get a bottle and only a sample.

Chocolate, banana and vanilla all the way.... it is rather aggressive on nose, attacks your senses little too much.. similar palate, alcohol could be better integrated, strong bitter notes, quite overloaded rum.. I am not much impressed but when left in the glass for a while (30mins minimum) and drop some water, it becomes more accessible in my opinion.

Typically Belizean nose, yellow fruit, vanilla and caramel. The palate is oily but also relatively dry. You find caramel, fruit, creamy vanilla and grated coconut. The alcohol is well integrated and it's never boring. Nice length, typically Belizean. Nice product.
