#5983 21.11.2025 Weekend is here and so is a one week vacation. Celebrating with some old but good samples. Nose Wood, light citrus, light floral, light tannins, light vanilla, light raisin. Palate Oily, wood, light roasted, spice, light bitter, light floral, medium dry, light peppery, dried fruit, light tannins, light caramel. Finish Medium long, wood, light roasted, light vanilla, faint orange, light leather. Empty glass Vanilla, caramel, faint honey, orange, faint mint.

Nice round rum, bur definitely not extraordinary

Another Appleton that surprises by tasting completely different from what you expect from Appleton. Personally, I was surprised by the amount of floral notes I sensed both on the nose and the palate, but it's a shame that these Appletons are so heavily diluted.
