What catches you first isn't the cane — it's the lip balm and Vaseline on the nose, then soft coconut and light vanilla settling into the grassy agricole profile. Water-white and clearly old, from a Guadeloupe distillery that closed back in the 90s. The palate runs lighter than the nose, a touch diluted, with citrus and a long, earthy finish. A curiosity worth tasting.

#6420 01.03.2026 Relaxing with a few samples while listening to Andy Judge on Spotify. A very good mixer rum that can also be enjoyed as a sipper. Fruity with coconut and some vanilla int he grassy profile.

Not sure what year this is other than pre 1994--thanks to Yaro! Lipbalm and Vaseline kind of aroma on the nose. Soft coconut, light vanilla. Some agricole grassiness. Water white pour. Some sharp booze on the finish but I suspect this has mellowed over the years. More coconut, some florals in the mouth. Some earthiness on finish, which is fairly long. Fun to try for sure.
