Nice profile, dried fruit, toasty, caramel, vanilla, baking spice, bourbon, slight menthol freshness. Somewhat reminiscent of Ten Cane or TDL. Toasty on the palate, dark chocolate, barrel, and bourbon again! Class rum from the Lone Star State!

Rum X Advent 6.12.22Overall a great surprise. Full bomb bourbon with chocolate and roasted flavors. Intense and nice depth of flavor, first thought something tropical aged. For me, some points deduction because of the alcohol involvement.

Like a bit winterly Ooh it’s from Texas 😎 Really lovely rum with a nice hint of freh mint. My Prediction: Belize Approx. 55% Approx. 5 years of aging

Newly presented at the BCB Berlin. Extremely harmonious and complex! A blend of green apple, cinnamony winter baked apple, grape or cassis jelly, citrus peel and green tea with fresh mint, plus some leather, burnt sugar and toasted wood and bourbon. Very tasty and alcohol content is chosen just right.

#5662 12.09.2025 Enjoying this sample I just got from a work colleague today. Nose Wood, light roasted, raisin, vanilla, fruity, light cinnamon, light caramel, light cherry. Palate Wood, light roasted, medium spicy, raisin, light cherry, cinnamon, light chocolate, light vanilla. Finish Long and warm, fresh, wood, dried fruit, light chocolate, light cinnamon. Empty glass Raisin, chocolate, vanilla, light cinnamon. This was a huge surprise and the price to quality is pretty good in my mind.

Wonderfully round first impression on the nose. Gradually, more and more details are added - that's how I like it!On the palate, similarly round and yet intense. The storage in bourbon barrels, however, he can not hide. Long spicy finish. Very good rum, perfectly suited as a Feierabend rum: demands not excessive, with balanced spice and sweetness very tasty.

A quite charming American rum. The nose is oriented towards caramel, burnt sugar, chocolate and roasted notes. You also feel spices, wood, a bit of menthol and a bourbon influence. On the palate, the grilled, spicy and caramelized framework remains dominant, with wood, chocolate and leather always in the background. The finish is medium-long, on the same tones, with a touch of roasted hazelnuts. A classic but tasty and easy-drinking rum.

RumX Advent calendar 6.12.2022: At first on the nose I was at Belize, over time the smell became more and more bourbon-like. On the palate spicy notes from the cask, sweetish berries and a slight menthol note. The alcohol could be better integrated, but otherwise very tasty. After the bourbon smell came I was a bit afraid, but I like it more and more with time!

RumX Advent Calendar 2022: Strong rum from a distillery unknown to me so far. The wood and roasted aromas harmonize wonderfully with caramel, leather, and milk chocolate. Nice nutty notes on the palate. The finish with added mint is magnificent!

Surprise number 6 comes from Texas. Since this rum has been surprisingly well received by many, I can only agree. Very balanced with dry berries present right up to the finish. This rum glides smoothly on the palate. Great!

Really a great rum for sipping. The alcohol is well integrated. Light caramel sweetness meets a wooden barrel with vanilla and roasted aromas with a hint of mint at the end.

Nose on spices, saffron in particular, corn, with some red fruits in the background, light mint freshness. On the palate you find the spice markers, bourbon, and a certain spicy freshness. It’s good and original!
