#4874 Whisky Live in Paris 27.09.2024-30.09.2024. Another great event meeting a lot of RumX new and old friends. This year three weren't as many new releases as in 2023, but I still had a great time. Nose Fresh, light wood, fruity, light pineapple, faint banana, faint smoke, ester, spices. Palate Round, light wood, faint smoke, light vegetal, fruity, light pineapple, faint floral, light citrus, ester. Finish Medium long, light wood, fruits, light citrus, faint floral, ester, faint smoke. Pretty good release considering it's a blend. A must try if you like Jamaican rum.

Dégusté au whisky live Paris : notes de dégustations rapides mais ici j’ai pris du plaisir ! Nez : la canne est encore là, la vanille adoucit les fruits exotiques. Les esters sont la, sans être trop vifs. Bouche : fruitée, ester, petit côté empyreumatique Finale : longue, ester, épices, léger fumé Finalement la meilleure quille du line up. Pour info « Ce small batch de cinq fûts a été élaboré à partir de rhums distillés dans des alambics pot still en provenance de New Yarmouth (2005), Long Pond (2005), Clarendon Estate (2007), du village Lluidas Vale (2008) et d’un rhum distillé en colonne par Clarendon Estate (2007) »

Very nice Jamaican blend that comes out of the profiles full of esters but that is really very pleasant. The nose is fresh and fruity, a nice mix of flowers and fruits on a wax/vanilla background. The mouth is more vegetal and peppery. The whole is well balanced, offers a nice meeting of Jamaica and I think it's very well done.

Z vůně jsem v rozpacích. Jamajka je tam znát, ale přijde mi to takové disharmonické. Chuťově pravý opak. Krásně nasládlé , celkem uhlazené a dobře pitelné. Nakonec jsem spokojený. Fajn blend jako bývají Great House.
