Agricole drinkers who chase raw cane and sour citrus will feel at home here. This Guadeloupe white, rested 450 days, is a Velier bottling at a hefty 64%. Expect fresh sugarcane, lime, a floral, almost gourmand nose and a surprisingly oily, medium-dry palate. #4811 10.08.2024 Enjoying some samples at home. Nose Fresh, round, fruits, citrus, light floral, light sugarcane. Palate Oily, fresh, round, medium dry, spicy, fruits, floral, light sugarcane, light vegetal. Finish Long and warm, light fruits, citrus, light sugarcane, spicy, The empty glass has a perfume like not to it as well as chocolate.

Not really a sipping rum but an interesting brash Agricole. Exquisite nose, fruit and bubblegum, just really like the nose, up there with Mhoba. On the mouth it’s more muted, some metallic and herbal notes, basil and olive. The finish is salty with brine and olive, medium length, and interesting. Dry on the mid half of the mouth, and overall quite an elegant rum. Good daiquiri, the dryness comes through as well

A nice experiment, the long maturation made this rum way smoother. Nice sip despite high abv (brut de colonne), this rum is really shifted towards vegetal and sour citrus notes. I appreciated this enough to grab a bottle when it's been possible

Notes from Whisky Live Paris 2024 - to be reviewed and deepened. More marked and creamy than the 120 days, although it stays in the same line. It’s quite straightforward, no surprises, even though it’s very good.

On the nose you find a greedy cane, full of sugar. The palate is creamy and soft. The finish is quite long and sticky for a white rum.
