Color: Gold Nose: At first extremely sweet, fruity and estery. Ripe pears and Williams-Christ brandy. Candy, cotton candy, vanilla soft ice cream, Sparkling cream soda. Taste: Sweet and creamy mouthfeel. Spicy, alcoholic with esters when swallowing. Very fruity. Oak. Finish: Medium length, spicy, somewhat dry and woody. Still many esters and fruity aromas. Wonderful rum for high ester lovers - recommended.

Interesting mix. But unfortunately the Hampden hardly stands a chance against the brutal HERR.
