Rather average overall. Even after breathing for over an hour, the alcohol is still quite present and the taste is not particularly complex... a little caramel, milk chocolate and coconut. just ok for the price.

Barbados profile. But weak ... Foursquare je destilerka z Barbadosu produkujici uzasne rumy ke kazdodennimu popijeni. Je to rum, ktery oceni zejmena rumari, kteri maji plne zuby cukru a hledaji jemny, nasladly rum plny kokosu, vanilky, cokolady a karamelu. Proste prijemne a nijak agresivni chute.

Edit: nochmal aus der frisch geöffneten Flasche probiert. Für den damaligen Preis echt o.k. Die Foursquare Marker sind da. Als Mixer macht er eine gute Figur. Pur zu alkoholisch Leider nicht so gut wie erwartet. Eher einer der schlechteren Foursquare. Zum sippen zwischendurch kann man ihn schon nehmen. Denke aber er wird als CubaLibre sein Ende finden. Wie angekündigt natürlich als Mixer geendet. Für den Preis aber denoch ein guter Rum.

#4724 12.05.2024 Relaxing at home. Nose Fresh, alcoholic, light caramel, coconut, light pineapple, faint chocolate. Palate Warm, alcoholic, fruits, coconut, light chocolate, faint caramel, tannins, light wood. Finish Medium to long, wood, alcoholic, light caramel, faint chocolate, light citrus. The empty glass has stronger chocolate and light herbs. ABV is pretty badly integrated even after a long rest it is still very present. With some water the ABV will smoothen out and more destinct flavours will appear.

There are better Foursquare rums. Remains quite alcoholic and is clearly less intense in the flavors like other Foursquare. Overall, solid to good.

Relatively mixed I would say. Nose: caramel, vanilla, alcohol, little to no fruit. Rather monotonous and somewhat angular in the mouth, although it has a good mouthfeel. Rather short finish. For the money, I would rather go for an ECS

I still find this ''Foursquare'' okay, but unfortunately nothing more. I find it hard to enjoy neat and although adding a lot of water reduces the aggressiveness, the alcoholic sharpness remains and no new facets are released. That's a pity, as there are some nice approaches.
