Mein Gaumen sagt mir, dass es viele Parallelen zwischen einem alten Dictador und einem alten Demerara gibt und somit stelle ich fest, dass ich grundsätzlich das Profil von Dictador sehr sehr gerne trinke. In der Nase habe ich angenehme Aromen von Holz, braunem Karamell, Kaffee, Vanille, Schokolade, Leder, gerösteten Nüssen und Trockenfrüchten. Am Gaumen finden sich neben einer genialen Süße Vanille, Holz, Karamell, Kaffee, Gewürze, Butterscotch, Milchschokolade, dunkle Aromen und geröstete Nüsse. Die cremige Textur ist ein großer Genuss. Der mittellange Abgang bietet Holz, Schokolade, Kaffee, Röstaromen, Fassnoten, Vanille, Sahnetoffee und Nüsse. Mir schmeckt dieser kolumbianische Rum richtig gut und das Trinkgefühl ist einfach der Hammer. Danke an @MarMih092 für dieses leckere Sample 😋

Und noch ein Dictador hinter, fand den ersten aber besser, obwohl jünger. Hier fehlt mir das gewisse Etwas. Ist zwar auch sehr dunkel und röstig, Schokolade und Kaffee sind erkennbar, aber der jüngere hatte irgendwie mehr Profil.

8,1:On the nose, sweet roasted wood/oak notes like burnt sugar, caramelized, brown, nuts, leather, coffee, spicy, herbaceous, dark molasses with licorice, black tea, dried apricots, raisins, dates, metallic patina, bump into our nosetrils. On aeration, orange peel is out, thick, syrupy molasses, some confectionery with pastry, chocolate, vanilla and salty touch. 7,9:On the palate, the attack is sweet with roasted wood notes like burnt sugar, caramel, milk chocolate, nuts, leather, coffee, spicy with baking spices, vanilla, slightly medicinal, metallic, fruity with candied fruits, dried apricots, raisins, red fruits, grapefruit and orange peel, as molasses is dark, thick with licorice, vegetal, earthy with tobacco. 7,8:The finish is medium long, dry, slightly smoky, with notes from palate lingering on.

06.02.2023 Another set of Dictador samples for home tasting. Colour Dark to very dark. Nose Sweet, light wood, faint coffee, light cherry, spice, light nutts, light orange. Palate Sweet, light, light wood, faint chocolate, raisin, light cherry, light roasted, light cinnamon. Finish Medium long, light wood, sweet, light chocolate, light orange, faint nutts, light coffee.
