An der Nase sehr deutlich Wein mit den assoziierten roten Früchten, aber auch Banane. Wirkt zusammen mit einem starken Holzeinfluss und Tabak aber zu dominant, da andere Aromen wie Milchschokolade zu sehr im Hintergrund sitzen. Im Mund sehr mild, süß, beerig, dunkel, schokoladig und etwas dünn. Mit 41% definitiv zu stark verdünnt. Im Abgang natürlich wieder Portwein, Schokolade und Honig. Der Preis ist in Anbetracht der Verdünnung zu hoch.

06.02.2023 Another set of Dictador samples for home tasting. Colour Dark to very dark. Nose Light, light wood, sweet, faint nutts, dried fruit, light orange, cherry, faint anise. Palate Light, sweet, light wood, faint roasted, dried fruit, faint coffee, light banana, light cherry, spice. Finish Medium long, light, sweet, light wood, dried fruit, faint chocolate, light cherry, faint honey, light floral.

Unfortunately, relatively pale in profile. I lack the really inspiring cornerstones that could provide some excitement on the nose and palate. Well-formulated straightforward and typical in profile, without striking out negatively or positively - for me, unfortunately, thus much too statementless.
