18.01.2023 Enjoying some Dictador samples at home. Colour Dark to very dark. Nose Light, light wood, faint smoke, light apple, berries, sweet, light orange, spice. Palate Light, sweet, light wood, cinnamon, light caramel, faint strawberries, light raisin. Finish Medium long, sweet, light wood, berries, spice, light maple.

Ganz in Ordnung dieser Dictador, aber auch nix besonderes. Nase überwiegend fruchtig, etwas Rosine gibt es. Am Gaumen dann sehr, sehr röstig, Kaffee, Leder, Mokka und dunkle Schokolade sind hier erkennbar.

Hebt sich durch die Reifung im Fino-Sherryfass und spürbaren Trockenfrüchten vom klassischen Dictador-Profil ab. Er wirkt insgesamt weich und zugänglich, ohne besonders kräftig aufzutreten. Der Fasscharakter ist interessant, reicht aber nicht ganz aus, um dem Rum die gewünschte Tiefe und Komplexität zu geben.
