An intense and opulent nose, gourmand, almost pastry-like with brown sugar and muscovado sugar sprinkled with bourbon vanilla, candied fruits like figs and dates with a zest of orange. The toasted oak wood then expresses itself along with a hint of blond tobacco and molasses. On the palate, the rum expresses itself with a roundness, sweet and enveloping of salted butter caramel, crème brûlée. Dried fruits like almond and hazelnut become clearer behind soft spices of cinnamon and nutmeg with a slight touch of dark chocolate. The texture of this beverage is syrupy, very silky and without aggressiveness. The finish is long, warm and sweet. Return to vanilla, noble wood and a slight spicy side. A gourmand persistence.

A spicy rum with citrus notes. Multi-faceted and quite complex. Not as sweet as others in the Non Plus Ultra range but still a sweet rum for beginner palates. Nutty-woody in the finish. Very easy-drinking, I like it.

02.12.2025 Day 2 of my Christmas Calendar. Still find this one really sweet, but one of the better releases. --------- Beautiful bottle but still a very sweet rum. Almost as sweet as the black edition. Price to quality is a bit off in my mind

The taste is sweet, rich and complex, spicy and well-rounded with hints of vanilla, orange and lemon. Rich, creamy and long aftertaste. Leave it in the glass for a bit and let it breathe before you taste it 👍

7,2:The nose has a jammy sweetness of orange peel and mild spices, like a liqueur. There's also a hint of cake dough, with a buttery, sandy feel, like a cinnamon and cardamom cookie. With aeration, a hint of coffee aroma emerges, adding a little more depth. The cookie is spicier and more toasted, but the vanilla and sweet orange flavors continue to ensure a delicious finish. 7,5:The palate is very sweet, even liquorish, and the pastry profile of this rum bonbon is immediately apparent. Sweet spices and cake take shape on the palate, with a very gourmand and round thickness. Vanilla and orange liqueur flow slowly and abundantly, until they coat the whole taste bud. 7:The finish is very round, but very sweet, giving way to slightly roasted spices and a touch of liquorice. A spirit for sugary drinks lovers🙂.

Hodne alkoholová a Intenzivní a vůně, příjemně ovocné , s tóny karamelu a hnědého cukru , náznaky vanilky vzadu na jazyku . Všudypřítomná chuť pomerančové kůry. Příjemně se projevuje zakulacenou chutí, alkohol decentně obalený sladkou chutí pečeného hnédého cukru a hořké čokolády.

On the nose vanilla, roasted aromas, nut and wood notes. On the palate the nut notes come out more clearly, along with roasted almonds and chocolate. Very full-bodied and round, very sweet. The full, creamy-smooth mouthfeel lasts long.

Very pleasant blend, in the smell lemon orange vanilla. Needs time to breathe. On the tongue oily fruity woody and long. Nice lasting finish in a fantastic bottle that presents itself superbly.

Now we see something a bit different. The sugar is still burnt and orange peel, but it's lifted a bit from a citrus taste. The added light acidity lifts the harsh burnt overly sugary taste. Still, it's not good.

Comes across again as alcoholic and perfumed and not too sweet. Actually pleasant but doesn’t trigger a wow effect. It lacks a certain expressiveness. It just meanders along taste-wise and doesn’t linger long on the finish...
