In the nose reminiscent of Don Papa, I searched hard to taste it. In the nose, cola nut and that Filipino chemical orange. However, the taste surprised me. Lots of tea and grassy flavors. The alcohol could be better integrated.

Vôňa príjemná, chuť už tak nie. 55% je cítiť. Ostrejší, nič tu ostrosť neprekryje ako pri iných silnejších rumov. Pre whiskey ľudí dobrý

Woody, dried fruits, spices, coffee... on paper it's not bad but in reality once in the mouth there's still some alcohol, some heaviness too. Not necessarily super interesting compared to other more pleasant Maurice rums.

Surprising rum ! Nose : dark, wet, straw, earthy when a rainstorm just stopped Mouth : alcohol perfectly smooth, you don't feel the 55 at all. Very smooth with again this dark, earthy notes. Final is long on the vegetal side Great moment

Second tasting. On the nose, the wooden cask dominates, in the background the agricole freshness which interestingly manifests as cola notes. On the palate, the floral/freshness moves right to the front. Well-balanced rum.

Sehr komplexer Rum aus Mauritius. Die verschiedenen Fässer für die Reifung machen ihn besonders. Man hat wirklich viel Frucht (Kirsche, Himbeere) und Kakao sowie Schokoladen- und Röstnoten. Toller Rum mit Kraft!
