17.01.2023 enjoying a few Samples with a good friend. Medium dark in colour. Nose Fresh, light wood, faint smoke, fruity, light ester, faint vegetal, light citrus, faint floral. Palate Fresh, light wood, fruity, light pineapple, light citrus, faint ester, light vegetal. Finish Medium long, light wood, light roasted, dried fruit, faint chocolate, light citrus, spice. ABV very well integrated.

Sehr lecker, aber trotzdem des relativ hohen ABV finde ich ihn noch leicht verwässert. Ansonsten haben wir hier tropische Früchte und ein paar Ester, ist sehr scharfkantig, aber wie gesagt, etwas verwässert.

Exciting blend with tropical and citrus fruits, light esters, some wood and spices that turn a bit peppery on the palate. The alcohol is perfectly integrated. There are certainly better Ricci blends, but for 70€ this is an absolute great value knockout.

Ein weiterer Blend von der Familie Ricci. Wie bei fast allen Blends von ihnen, ist auch dieser gut gemacht, doch leider finde ich das er etwas zu alkoholisch bzw scharfkantig ist. Sonst wäre wohl ein bißchen mehr drin gewesen

A nice Jamaica blend! The nose is at first fruity and buttery and makes you want more. Tropical fruits, citrus fruits, butter, toffee, almond confection, yellow fruits and lacquer form a pleasant scent. On the palate a honey-like sweetness, tropical fruits and pastries start it off. Then follow spices, wood, roasted nuts and a pepper note underline the alcohol strength. Esters and citrus fruits provide a great freshness. I couldn't taste much from the vintage portion. The medium-long finish is characterized by spices, roasted wood, tropical fruits, lacquer, esters and ends with a vegetal note. Jamaica enjoyment at a really fair price! Gut eingebundener Alkohol, klassische Ester-Noten in der Nase und dann auf der Zunge mehr Nuss, Holz und ein wenig Schokolade mit klassischen Melasse-Noten.

A nice nose with lovely as well as spicy notes of sweet pastries and herbs that would go well with meat. The taste then even has more esters and vanilla, accompanied by toasted bread with nuts. I find the vintage portion fitting. The finish is medium-length and more mineral and vegetal, like the smell when digging up a rooted plant. Overall really great.
